CoCo is a little one year-old Dobie girl picked up as a skinny stray in rural South Carolina and taken to a local shelter. A shelter volunteer mentioned the sad little dobie to a friend who then went to the shelter and adopted her. Two weeks later the volunteers' husband went to the friend's house and saw that she was even thinner and clearly not being taken care of. He decided on the spot that he was taking her home. With tears in his eyes he picked her up and carried her to his car and took her home with him. They already had 5 dogs so couldn't keep her. The volunteer then reached out to DAN to find a Doberman Rescue for CoCo. Coco is now safe at Forever Dobes while she waits for her forever home.
